Effect of Carbon Content on Three-body Abrasive Wear Characteristics of 28Cr-3Ni Cast Alloys

چکیده

Abrasive wear resistance of white cast iron can be improved by adding transition metals due to carbide formation and matrix stabilization. However, it must also affected carbon content which has received little attention from researchers. Therefore, this study would investigate the influence (1.4 2.8 wt.%) C on three body abrasive characteristics 28Cr-3Ni alloys. High Cr-based multi-component irons (Hi–Cr MWCIs) were used as comparison materials estimate life-service each material. The abrasion test was performed using a rubber wheel machine with two different sizes silica sands (1100HV1).

Evaluating abrasive wear of amorphous alloys using nanoscratch technique
